The Medical Faculty trained specialists in Medicine and Dentistry. Medicine students studied surgery and internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, infectious diseases, clinical pharmacology and immunology, anesthesiology and other clinical disciplines.

Dentistry graduates qualified as general dental practitioners, with further postgraduate specialization available in therapeutic, surgical, orthopedic and pediatric dentistry.
